Behind The Scenes Ministry
Provides visual & audio presentations of biblical studies and songs during worship service, Bible Study & special events. Individuals serving on the Production Team Ministry must be able to multitask. These individuals are responsible for following sermons and/or Bible Studies and have the ability to listen, focus and type key points during sermons or studies; operate computers, cameras, audio equipment and record the Compassion Experience. Age requirement 12 years and older: Commitment: Minimum 2 hours 3x’s per month.

Media – the Media Ministry gives media support to our services and other events

Audio Team – Set up and tear down equipment (i.e. choir microphones), mix live audio levels or assist with recording and post-production. Commitment: Times vary, but most opportunities are during weekly services or special events

Lighting Team – Operate the light board and other lighting equipment. Commitment: 3-4 hours 2-3 times monthly

Media Support – Assist in creating text, presentations, etc. for screens. Commitment: days and times vary

Photography Team – (Must have own camera – cell phone cameras acceptable) Capture images of church-wide and ministry-based events and services. Commitment: As available (primarily during worship services and bible studies)

Video Team – Assist in visually capturing services and events: direct, operate screen displays or operate a video camera. Commitment: Sunday mornings & Wednesday evening Bible study (3-4 hours) at least 2 times per month

Presentation Team – Responsible for working Pro-Presenter and Pro-Video-Presenter software to display graphics and other presentations on the projection screens and video wall. Commitment: Times vary, but most opportunities are during weekly services or special events
Building Maintenance
Security Ministry
Protect, serve and preserve all experiences, personnel, property, Compassion members and guest. Handle any situation delicately and be able to communicate with the proper authorities if necessary. Perform routine security and public safety patrol duties during worship services, bible studies, special services and ministry events. Age requirement 19 years and older: Commitment: Minimum 3 hours 3x’s per month.
Christian Education
Compassion Bible Institute
The Compassion Bible Institute (CBI) was originally founded to provide graduates of the Church of Christian Compassion’s Discipleship Classes with two years of additional Christian Education. CBI’s mission is to cultivate disciples of Jesus Christ. This mission is pursued through a dual program combining intensive Bible Study with personal, one-on-one spiritual mentoring. Compassion School of Ministry

Administration
Conference Planning
The Conference Planning Ministry team assists with the coordination of all church and if requested, ministry conferences. These individuals help with the development, setup and cleanup during the preliminary stages and on the day of the conference. They also serve as hostesses, greeters and registration coordinators.

Event Planning
The Event Planning Ministry plans special events and services for the leadership of the Church of Christian Compassion. These events are anniversary days and any other special events outside of routine ministry events. Persons on this team work with the Special Events Coordinator who is responsible for overseeing all such events.
Guest Service
The Travel and Guest Services Ministry is responsible for making travel arrangements for out of town guests or special guest ministering at the church. In the event of special guest coming in from out of town with a number of buses and the need for hotel rooms or, in the event of the church going away in large numbers, this committee will be called upon to assist the Travel Coordinator with the coordination of these events.
